For a consecutive summer high school aged girls have made basketball the game of summer: to work, learn, play and enjoy the game they desire to get better at. MSU-Northern summer girls basketball league, with Northern coach Chris Mouat, came to a close last Wednesday.
Before closing out this final night of the summer league for the ladies from around the Hi-Line, head coach Chris Mouat took this opportunity for an unprecedented event. He offered Shyan Krass, from Turner, a sophomore to be, a letter of intent to play for the Skylights.
“We’re excited about her overall potential. You could see her playing a number of postitions. Hopefully with the offer she’ll say yes to us down the road. That’s the hope.”
